Ingredients

5 lb pork shoulder, boneless

Salt, to taste

  1. Generously season the pork shoulder on all sides, 30 minutes before smoking
  2. Preheat Lynx Smoker to 250 F, add apple or hickory wood chips to smoker box
  3. Once the smoking starts, place pork shoulder on the smoker's rack. Close the hood and smoke for 6 hours
  4. Wrap pork shoulder with foil and continue cooking for 1 or 2 more hours, until internal temperature reaches 203 F 
  5. Let the pork shoulder rest still wrapped for 30 minutes
  6. Pull and mix your preferred seasoning or sauce
